  1. Call to Order: 6:00pm
  2. Introductions: Dan Perera, Jim Leno, Wendy Stender, Marge Ross, Linda Straley (via video).

  4. Public Comment: None
  5. New Business: Continuation of Budget discussions.
    Wendy Stender discussed the Quin-Town Appropriation request. Suggestions were made for better communication regarding the new Appropriations procedure.
    Jim Leno presented budget suggestions for projects related to road repairs and maintenance. Dan Perera suggested that discretionary projects be reviewed as this year’s budget and the anticipated school budget are running higher than prior years. It was acknowledged that taxpayer contributions towards road maintenance will have to increase as costs have risen and various projects are pending. The amount of proposed taxpayer contribution towards the Highway Capital Fund was raised from $2,000 to $5,000 for the proposed FY26-27 budget.
    Discussion regarding paving of the lower portion of Tucker Brook Rd. This paving project has been put off for many years, most recently to allow for culvert construction above this section of road. Estimates for the project are being obtained. A preliminary estimate of $365,000 was agreed to and an associated budget for principal and interest of $46,000 was added to the proposed budget. This amount can be amended at Town Meeting if updated estimates are obtained.
    Motion to approve the proposed budget of $549,242 for FY26-27 (including Appropriations). Approved.
